Lots of mud and some rock crawling. If your vehicle is stock or does not have a winch, would highly recommend you bring a friend with a winch just in case you get stuck. ***Make sure to stay on the dirt roads and DONT wander into the forest lands, they are strictly off limits!***

Directions:

Take exit 5 on CT-9 south, take a right turn onto CT-80 W/ elm street. turn right onto CT-80 W, turn right onto Cedar Swamp road and follow that road back.

Fun road

Rode this from end to end today. Even in the rain, it wasn’t too muddy, I did most of it in 2wd. The state has been upgrading the road south of State Forrest Rd so it’s well groomed gravel from there to the pavement. Hoop Pole Rd is also about the. Same terrain

Open Gate

The North and South gates on Cedar Swamp Road are closed. I did find an open gate coming in from the North on Hoop Pole Hill Road. Not sure if this gate stays open normally.

There is a gate blocking entrance. Absolutely no chance to go around due to trees and water
