Lots of water

Submitted on Jun 08, 2022

Did this route yesterday. a good amount of mud but lots of water. I am unsure of the water depth in a few areas so I did the side routes around the water and they were very muddy was a good little ride.

SHIRKING ROAD

Submitted on Apr 04, 2021

Shirking Road, continue along until the road turns into dirt/mud. Went on April 3rd and haven’t had any major rain recently and there were some fairly deep water spots. Deep enough that a lifted tacoma and wrangler were up to the bottom of the bumper. First half of the trail is very easy, 2nd half there are decent sized rocks and wAter/mud/ruts. Would recommend good durable AT tires at least, 10 plys or MT would be ideal since some of them are fairly sharp All in all good trail for moderate off roading in the early spring, probably would be easier when things dry up. To get to it just get to shirking road in epping and keep driving on it, it will turn into dirt. Or come from Fremont and drive along paradise drive and it will turn into the trail as well

Went a few weeks back when it was dry out. Not to difficult but still fun. Went again The other day after a heavy rain and it is a different trail when lots of water on it....

Shirkin Road

Submitted on Jul 18, 2020

First off-roading experience ever. Just picked up the Tacoma Off-Road. As a beginner this was more than enough of a challenge. Mostly dry with the occasional puddles. Highly recommend for any Newbs like me. Some places I didn't dare try ... yet.

shirkin road update

Submitted on Apr 28, 2020

Shirkin road is very welcoming. almost sandpit layout with banks and offshoots. if you go... have another trail in your back pocket. looks like it’ll be developed soon. steaks, ribbons, etc. heaven for beginner rig.
