Seasonal closures due to high water, great area for spotting bear, bobcats, and has the highest density of Florida panthers in the state. Unmanned Iron Rangers at north and south entrances. Stewart Blvd is dirt and sand roads, other areas are old paved roads, area was part of the golden glades real estate scam, lands reclaimed by state. During wet season, could be fording water for literally miles.
