This is located off of State Rd 520 north of SR 528 (Beachline) follow signs to the WMA. It has ~ 15 miles of forest trails on 2 loops and a powerline trail that ends at St Johns River. All trails are packed sand and can be soft or firm and occasionally washed out. Most SUVs and even cars can handle the trails but 4X4 makes it easier. This is more of a scenic area rather than a hard core off road area but it is a nice getaway to play around in your rig. It is Patrolled by State officers and they enforce the self pay rules and trail rules.

Puddles

Cool place to visit. Especially over by the St Johns River. All the roads had been recently graded. So not much excitement for wheeling. I had my 2011 Toyota 4Runner limited on this trip. It is a full time 4 wheel drive. Never had to lock the center transfer case. Just a few puddles to sling some mud. But the weather on December 15th was beautiful!
