Peters Mill Run is a great 6.5 mile OHV trail along the top of the mountain in the George Washington National Forest. It is a family friendly, stocker ready trail that offered a bunch of small rocky sections, traversing on top on the mountain with great views, a few mud pits, and a great time for everyone.

Fun trail, not hard to run. Lots of rocks but no rock climbing. Some large puddles but not too deep. Worth th effort but views have to wait for fall or winter…very lush forest.

The trail is extremely doable, but still fun, in a stock 2019 Raptor, though it is narrow sometimes (fun since you can climb half up a steep hill into a mean lean to let other vehicles by).

Rocky but not the boxing or crawling type, just lots of rocks. Stock 2010 Wrangler had minimal issues. Good trail in early Dec. 2020

Beautiful trail that follows the mountain top.. Not too difficult but a fun winding trail. Small rocky sections.
