Kanabec Forest Road (also known as the Arctic Trail) is located in the Rum River State Forest. This trail has two parts, the North and South sections of the trail. The Kanabec Forest Road North section is a little over 2.5 miles long and winds through some marshy lowlands. The Kanabec State Forest South section is approx 2 miles long and is more wooded. Both sections are fairly easy and good for a nice drive
